Seit gestern kann jeder, der über t-online ins Internet geht nur noch eine qnet connection herstellen.

Doch lest selbst:


Due to many general abuse issues (directed towards QuakeNet's staff, users and the network itself)
from a significant number of users, we have had to take the unprecedented step
of restricting all t-dialin users to one connection per host on the network.
Any users attempting to make more than one connection to the network
will receive an error message (Too many connections from your host)
and have their connection refused.

And yes, we acknowledge that this may cause problems for users who share connections
and/or host their own bots etc., but this was the only alternative to a global t-dialin ban.
We apologise to the many genuine t-dialin users affected by this action,
and hope that this will help with the abuse issues affecting the network and its users.

We hope this will alleviate some of the problems experienced by families who use QuakeNet.

hast du recht, aber man hätte es vielleicht auf 2 beschränken sollen und nicht auf nur 1 con ...

Im Grunde ist es eine gute entscheidung - jeder weiß, dass z.B. die dummen kinder die bei cs-scene.de ihre comments posten auch immer im irc rumhängen und mit clones scheisse machen... für die leute die mehre clienten gleichzeitig über eine ip benutzen MÜSSEN ist das natürlich unglücklich, aber die meisten haben ja inzwischen eh einen bouncer.
